Site Investigations & Environmental Reporting - from Industrial Use to Domestic and Commercial Re-development
Site Investigations
The 'Practice' has undertaken many site investigations over the years as part of its full service to its clients. This has been to determine the correct foundation types for new houses, house extensions, residential, commercial and industrial redevelopments.
Site investigations that this 'Practice' has undertaken over the years include,
- Trial hole exposures to determine soil types and their general bearing capacity
- Laboratory testing and reporting
- Site borings down to depths of 50 metres and their soil analysis
- Bearing capacity calculations to determine type of foundation required
- Full reporting - findings and recommendations of relevant foundation's types

Environmental Reporting
Redevelopment of former industrial sites requires statutory appraisal of the nature of the soils and the identification of toxic elements.
The 'Practice' has undertaken several major environmental reports and where some have been 'combined' reports incorporating both full environmental and structural elements. We are therefore well experienced and knowledgeable in undertaking these in-depth reports.
