Institutional Buildings - Colleges of Higher Education and Local Authority Schools

 

The 'practice' has over the years advised schools and colleges of higher education. These have included Huddersfield Technical College and Dewsbury College (now amalgamated to form Kirklees College) together with Colne Valley High School (the largest comprehensive school in the Kirklees area) and the National Media Museum in Bradford (part of HM Government's national museum structure).

 

These projects have included advisory works on new classrooms, medium-sized internal alteration projects, multi-storey lift installations, structural certifications for H&S employee/employer requirements, structural steel designs (columns, beams, floors and walls), monitoring of buildings (subsidence checks) and structural integrity reports to name but just a few.
